Enterprise Software: UX Survival Guides

Thanks to everyone who came out to our last Enterprise UX SF meetup event “UX Survival Guides.”  It was hosted at General Assembly in downtown San Francisco and was a great turnout of around 100 UX’ers.  The theme for the evening focused on basic techniques, tools, philosophies, or myths that you would need to know to design a software product effectively.  We had some amazing speakers and panelists that share their insider secrets “short” and “sweet.”  Speakers and panelists included Debbie Levitt (Interaction Designer, UX Consultant, Axure Trainer, Ptype), Adam (Mobile Interaction Designer, Xoom (+ General Assembly Teacher), Krista Sanders (Design Director, Whistle Labs (formerly of Google).  Unfortunately Amanda Linden (Head of Product Design, Asana) was unable to make it because she was sick, so I (Joe Preston, CXO, Momentum)  filled in for her.  We have videos of the event posted here.   Big shout out to our distinguished sponsors BalsamiqFullStory and Salesforce.

Our next upcoming Enterprise UX events include:
“Consumerization of Enterprise UX” March 16 (During SXSW) @LIVESTRONG  in Austin
“Meaningful Motion” March 26, 2015 @ Salesforce HQ in San Francisco

We also now have an Enterprise UX NYC group. See you at an eUX event soon!
