keeping up with the latest technologies, part 4

Tuesday, November 11th, 2008

This week’s presentations cover a few Javascript frameworks, including EXTJS, JQuery, GWT (Google Web Toolkit), and YUI (Yahoo! User Interface Library). All open-source, customizable libraries, these Javascript frameworks offer various tools and plug-ins for building richly interactive web apps.  Examples are animations, utilities, controls and widgets.
Be sure to check out our archived presentations that cover RIA technologies and runtimes, programming languages, and other frameworks.

Introducing 21st Century Production

scenechronize is bringing a new level of efficiency and peace of mind to film and television production. It combines the script, breakdown elements and scheduling into a single web application. For the first time, information is available from all departments - anytime, anywhere. Producers and their entire production team can use scenechronize from development through shoot, and beyond. scenechronize coordinates the expected and allows the crew to deal efficiently with the unexpected – ensuring that everyone and everything is ready on the set.
